Robert Dash

Robert Dash is an educator, naturalist and photographer. His images celebrate intricate textures and patterns of micro nature, blending art and science, fact and metaphor. Dash’s photographs have been published by National Geographic, TIME, and Lenswork. They have appeared in galleries and juried shows in the US and internationally.  Dash authored On An Acre Shy of Eternity, Micro Landscapes at the Edge, which won the 2017 Nautilus Book Awards Gold for Photography and Arts, and Best of Self Published. He presented the widely-viewed TEDx lecture, “The Intercourse of Nature.” Dash’s current body of work, A Micro View of Climate Change and Food, will launch at the San Juan Island Museum of Art in Fall, 2019.
