FERRY RESERVATIONS

If you are planning to drive onto the ferry via Anacortes, then you need to get your tickets reserved in advance. You’ll want to make a reservation for both your arrival AND departure sailings. (ASAP). You can make reservations by going to the WA State Ferry Website

FOOT FERRY

If you would prefer not to drive your vehicle onto the island and would rather sail across the water directly to Rosario’s dock, we still have space available on the chartered foot ferry. This option also allows you to depart Anacortes (9AM sharp) in time to arrive by Opening Circle (10:30AM).  It also gets you back to the mainland by 5PM on Sunday evening

To learn more and lock in your spot, Visit our Charter Ferry Webpage. The Ferry picks up at the Anacortes Marina. From the marina parking lot (free parking for 72 hours), look for “Island Express Charters.” Boarding begins at 8:30am, boat departs at 9:00am SHARP.

MEAL OPTIONS
.

OPTION 1:  ROSARIO MEAL PLAN  (full plan OR individually selected)
We highly recommend the full Meal Plan offered by Rosario’s Restaurant. While there will be a couple of other options offered by the Rosario restaurant, the meal plan will be both convenient and efficient. As soon as programs complete, you can head up to the mansion and join in on the buffet. If you don’t wish to purchase the entire meal plan package, you have the option to choose individual meals from the plan. Meal Plan reservations are open until the 18th of March, depending on availability. If you wish to experience a few meals through the meal plan, but not all, you’re welcome to choose individually selected meals. That can be done through the registration page of our website.

OPTION 2: ROSARIO RESTAURANT RESERVATIONS
Rosario has opened up a limited amount of seating for reservations during the Convergence. You will have the opportunity to order directly from the restaurant menu (Special limited menu for this event). The reservations are on a first-come, first-serve basis. To make a reservation, please visit their special Convergence Reservation Page.

Please keep in mind that not all reservation time slots are during the designated meal times organized in the program. Before making your reservation, please reference the schedule to be certain you are comfortable in potentially missing any offerings before locking in your reservation.

OPTION 3: ROSARIO LUNCH PIZZAS & BREAKFAST HAND PIES
Through their pizza oven, Rosario will be preparing fresh pizzas throughout the Convergence and will be taking a LIMITED NUMBER of orders daily. Orders can be placed by filling out an order form at the front desk of the Resort, which can be accomplished in person, once you arrive to the Resort (they’re not offering online pre-orders). You must place your order by 9am each day. Your order can then be picked up at 12:30pm each day in the Restaurant of the Mansion.

HAND PIES
A selection of sweet and savory hand pies will be available for purchase from the front desk. These can be eaten cold or heated in your room’s microwave.

OPTION 4:  BRING YOUR OWN FOOD
If you would prefer to bring your own food for mealtime, that is both welcomed and supported. We do ask that you keep your food/cooler in your vehicle or room during program offerings.

OPTION 5:  EASTSOUND RESTAURANTS
If you would prefer to eat in town, there are a variety of restaurants to choose form. Please keep in mind that Rosario is located 15 minutes from Eastsound, where the restaurants are located, so you will want to time your travels accordingly so as to not miss out on programming.

Wild Island (lunch)
The Kitchen (lunch)
Roses (lunch)
The Coop Deli (Lunch)
New Leaf (Dinner)
Mijitas Mexican (Dinner)

PARKING

If you are driving to the Convergence please consider carpooling as parking is limited. Once you arrive to Rosario, you will follow signs to the Beach House. You will have the option to either park next to the Beach House (Rosario’s Conference Center) or in the Marina Parking. If you are a guest staying at the Resort, we sincerely request that you park at your room and leave your car there, walking to the Beach House daily, so as to accommodate all drivers needing space to park. (Alter-abled people, please feel free to drive and park at will).

ARRIVAL PROCEDURE

When you arrive to the “Beach House”, you’ll see our “Welcome” sign.  Here, you will enter into the building and find our Registration Desk, receive your conference pass, name badge, maps, and other important information. If you are staying at the resort, you can then go up to Rosario’s Front Desk (at the “Mansion” on your printed map) and check in to your room. If your room is not ready when you arrive, please leave your luggage in your vehicle and drive it to your room at a later time. In general, we ask that you leave the majority of your belongings in your room or car, instead of in the conference center.

THURSDAY ARRIVAL RECOMMENDED
It’s suggested that you arrive on Thursday to familiarize yourself with the grounds, and have a relaxing entry to the weekend. Conference registration will be open from 4pm – 11pm. We will offer facilitated Connection & Networking Activities at 7pm for those who are interested in meeting all the other amazing people they’ll spend the next 3 days with! If you have to arrive on Friday, you will have to be on the 7:40am ferry in order to arrive in time for Opening Circle, which begins at 10:30. We sincerely hope you’ll be there with us at that time.

LIVESTREAM OPTION AVAILABLE

As a reminder, we now have “Digital Tickets” available! We want to make sure everyone who wants and needs this experience, has access to it. You can invite friends and family from anywhere in the World to join you at the Convergence!  We will be giving 50% of all livestream ticket profits to the local Seadoc Society, who is on a science-driven mission to protect the orca whales and all marine life in the Salish Sea. To learn more, visit the Convergence Livestream Page
